To some it might seem like a drop in a bucket, but to us, every drop fills the bucket toward scholarship funds. When you give even the smallest amounts, you create the biggest smiles from the generosity of your giving. For now, forget about what you don’t have and think about what you can give. Future Tiger graduates are counting on us. As the saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child…"
BRICKS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS FUND
It’s easy for us to all agree that our heritage is our "TIGER PRIDE". As proud alumni and supporting friends of Blanche Ely High School and its students, we want to exemplify that pride by supporting the "BRICKS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS" program. This is an excellent program to generate funds to provide scholarship opportunities to future BEHS gradutes. It’s also a means to leave your permanent imprint or statement on a commemorative brick on the school grounds.
These commenorative bricks can be used to:
- Imprint your name as an alumni or friend at the school
- Honor the graduation or achievement of a graduating senior
- Honor an alumni parent(s)
- Pay tribute to an alumni educator/student/ mentor
- Imprint your family name
- Show church/ business support for BEH students and the school
So please show your support by purchasing a commemorative brick by clicking on the "BUY-A-BRICK" button below. That will direct you over to the brick vendor, Bricks R Us, ordering page. The deadline for this year is May 10th, 2017. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to display our commemorative paver bricks to the community. We want to include a dedication bench in honor of Mrs. Ely to highlight the area. This will be an ongoing campaign, but only open for purchases once a year to buy bricks. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
